Essential Functions

  • Executes direction and team expectations for the Retail Operations team.
  • Manages up to 25 retail operations employees at a time.
  • Provides daily guidance, training, development and on the spot feedback for subordinates.
  • Responsible for overall satisfaction, safety and security of all customers and employees.
  • Executes plan to drive labor productivity while delivering best-in-class customer service.
  • Administers programs provided by the retail operations team to meet sales, income goals and reports on key metrics (sales, productivity, etc.) that drive the business using insights/data to make sound business decisions
  • Responsible for the entire inventory intake management process and maintaining adequate inventory levels in the store at all times
  • Troubleshoot aspects of store technology to ensure the operations are functioning properly.
  • Coordinates and implements visuals/merchandising ideas to drive sales and product recognition
  • Utilize conflict resolution to mitigate customer complaints, issues, returns and exchanges using proper procedures
  • Conducts regular inventory audits and investigates discrepancies
  • Audits and conducts cash reconciliations daily
  • Maximizes overall store productivity by overseeing all procedures and processes to ensure effective compliance 
  • Builds customer loyalty by coaching employees to educate, inform and guide customer sales appropriately
  • Responsible for providing outstanding customer service at an efficient pace at all times 
  • Responsible for managing their own cash drawer daily and having the accurate amount of money in correlation with their daily sales
  • Assists with inventory intake including inventory counts and product photos
  • Restocks the sales floor to keep inventory levels adequate
  • Sets up/breaks down the sales floor daily requiring up to 50lbs of heavy lifting at any given time
  • Actively works to meet or exceed sales goals set by the retail operations team
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the store including, but not limited to sweeping, mopping, cleaning/restocking bathrooms, cleaning windows, taking out trash, etc. 
  • Participates in training programs provided by the company to further enhance their knowledge in both cannabis and customer service
