About Headband Marijuana
Headband, which gets its name from the light pressure around your forehead you experience after smoking, is the offspring of OG Kush and Sour Diesel. The result is a hybrid that is 60% Indica and 40% Sativa. Headband buds are usually small and dense. The leaves range from light green to purple, and the flower typically boasts an impressive amount of trichomes. You will notice a lemony taste and smell, which can be attributed to the OG Kush, highlighted with a hint of diesel. Unlike many of our other Indica-leading hybrids, Headband produces a thick, smooth, creamy smoke. While the smoke is smoother than almost any other Kush, don’t let that fool you, the THC level of this this strain measures in at a robust 19%.
Headband Strain Effects
The Headband high is known to be a creeper. It may take as long as 20 minutes to feel it’s full effect, but once it has hit you, there will be no doubt about its potency. Although technically a 60/40 hybrid, the strain’s indica effect is profound, while its sativa attributes are minimal. The result is an intense body high, with high levels of euphoria, while also experiencing low energy and a hindered concentration. For these reasons, Headband is best enjoyed at the end of a night, or on a rainy day.
