Way back in June 1910, the first Father’s Day celebration took place in Spokane. The rest, as they say, is history.

Just outside Spokane, the Grande Coulee Dam is one of the most impressive concrete structures in the world, stretching almost a mile in length.

Spokane is the smallest city to play host to a World’s Fair.
